Debate

Death penalty  What is death penalty? Also called capital punishment, is the execution of an offender sentenced to death after conviction by a court of law of a criminal offense.  So in this blog, I will be against the death penalty, because this is my position in the debate. Okey firts we need to start with something simple. At the end we are gonna die, if someone comitted a crime like murder, they are crazy it people with mental problems and maybe they think that death is like their escape, what death penalty do is NOTHING, you could say that "it to exterminate criminals" but what about the victim, you just can't remedy what happened, because it's a traumatic experience.  In my opinion, is better that the accused suffer all the rest of his life in prision, I am in favor of life imprisionment I think it gives them the feeling of guilty and reflexion, I am not saying that at the other day they are gonna be good persons, but at the end they are gonna die, because is...

Objectivity and subjectivity of values

Image
Differences between objectivity and subjectivity values Subjectivity is a theory that develops the idea of the value of something that  is not determined by any property inherent to it, but by the importance that an individual gives it to achieve your goals or wishes. In ethics it has the same purpuse but in a different way, which reffers to the importance that and individual conclude in a situation because his personal taste, emocional state and contextual state. In the other hand, we have the objectivity value, which refers completely to the opposite of subjectivism. Objectivity is the quality of the objective, in such a way that it belongs to or is relative to the object itself, regardless of the way of thinking or feeling that any subject may have that observes or considers it. In ethics has the same purpose, which is that refers to a fact-based, measurable, reason driven way to determine the one, right solution to any given moral problem. In this blog, I will like...

Values and anti values

Image
Values and Anti-values  As we know values have a important role and impact in our life’s they teach us how we need to behave with others and are part of the morality that each one have. Values help us to develop and grow, so in that part we can create the future we want. In the other hand we have the anti-values, which are against the moral values and they consist in negative actitudes that put society in risk. In this blog I will talk about the importance of values and the disadvantages of the anti-values.  The decision that we make every day are the reflection of our values, when we use these values to make a decision we focus on what is important for us or for a group if that decision involves others. That’s why the values are important, because with that we know, which decisions are benefit for us. These can be: integrity, honesty, loyalty, empathy and respect.  Otherwise, we have anti-values and we can classified them like the ones who are against the mo...

Utilitarianism

Image
Ultilitarianism Is right or wrong? Ultilitarianism, is a ethical theory that determines if something is wrong or right, but it  only seeks the happiness and well-being of the majority of individuals,  was founded by Jeremy Bentham in the 18th century. In this blog, I will give my point of view in this theme and what I think that is good in this theory and what it isn't. So, even that the ultilitarianism  always has a valid argument based on the most reasonable thing to do, it has its limitations. This theory basically wants to treat all the people the same like they don't are different, what obviously is wrong because we all are different in aspects of moral, so that´s why we cannot apply this merthod cause is ethically wrong. For example: Let's say that you drive a trainwheel without brakes and you can only turn to the right or to the left. If you go to the right you will run over a person; instead on the left there is a group of eight children playing. What will ...

Transgenic foods Firstly, what is GMO wich also stands as genetically modified organism? Like it’s name says is a organism altered genetically to change its DNA and also modified. Nowadays, one of the uses of GMOs are that we use this to prevent crops die from insects, a example of that is the corn, it is modified to resist the insects and so you can harvest. The real question is, Does they affect in some way? In this blog, I’m gonna to expose the pros and cons that the transgenic food. Feminist rights and errors

Image
Feminism Rights The concept of feminism according to the Standford Encyclopedia of Philosofy is that "feminism" is a term of the nineteenth century to reffer the feminist  ideologies or beliefs that are on favor of the  feminist political movements, so basically "feminism" refers to  the women's movement to achieve the equality of sexes. Women’s in favor of this movement fight for their rights even if they already have their own rights, but unfortunately they are not respected and treated as well, because of these feminists have to express in some way, even if it’s in a n ot pacific way, because the government doesn’t do nothing for these women’s. We all can agree that is okey that women express themselves, but i don’t think that is the best way to harm the other people around them, because of that people react in a negative way and have feminist in a wrong concept that’s that everything they do is only because they just want attention. In the other hand, they...
