Death penalty
What is death penalty?
Also called capital punishment, is the execution of an offender sentenced to death after conviction by a court of law of a criminal offense.
So in this blog, I will be against the death penalty, because this is my position in the debate.
Okey firts we need to start with something simple. At the end we are gonna die, if someone comitted a crime like murder, they are crazy it people with mental problems and maybe they think that death is like their escape, what death penalty do is NOTHING, you could say that "it to exterminate criminals" but what about the victim, you just can't remedy what happened, because it's a traumatic experience.
In my opinion, is better that the accused suffer all the rest of his life in prision, I am in favor of life imprisionment I think it gives them the feeling of guilty and reflexion, I am not saying that at the other day they are gonna be good persons, but at the end they are gonna die, because is a natural cycle but the thing is that nobody is gonna remember them, because all they're life are gonna pass in jail.
Going back to statistics, I did some research in which i found the next text: "Opponents of capital punishment say it has no deterrent effect on crime, wrongly gives governments the power to take human life, and perpetuates social injustices by disproportionately targeting people of color (racist) and people who cannot afford good attorneys (classist). They say lifetime jail sentences are a more severe and less expensive punishment than death."
This text only had facts, because all is true, at the end they are gonna acuse someone who is inocent, just because their skin color or people who doesn't have the enough money. In Mexico there is no death penalty anymore.
